Caitlin LoRusso

Caitlin received her undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder and went on to earn her J.D. at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas.  Following law school, Caitlin worked for a financial planning firm where she began focusing on tax preparation and advising for individuals and businesses.  After starting LoRusso & LoRusso, Ltd. with her husband, Joseph, Caitlin turned her focus exclusively to aviation law.  Caitlin focuses on aviation transactions, certificate defense, crash litigation, drone registration and litigation, and aviation tax issues.

Caitlin is also of counsel at the firm of Ralston, Pope & Diehl in Topeka, Kansas, which focuses on various fields of plaintiff’s litigation, including medical malpractice, car accidents, and personal injury.

When Caitlin is not in the office, she can be found writing articles for various aviation legal publications, such as the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association Journal, or building hours and receiving flight instruction from Joseph in a 1943 Stearman 450 biplane.
